Corinthians have opened talks to extend Ariel Godoi’s deal with the Brabas. According to Meu Timao, discussions come during the mid-season break.

The 31-year-old is tied to 31 December 2026 and the expectation is a further two seasons. Talks are at an early stage and should develop in the coming months.

Godoi joined in early 2025 after São Paulo. Signed to broaden Lucas Piccinato’s attack, she has mostly come off the bench or featured in rotation.

She made 41 appearances and scored 10 goals last season. This year she has nine games and five goals, and celebrated the 2025 Brasileiro and Libertadores titles.

Under Emily Lima, a standout display came in May, a hat-trick in a 6-0 win over Red Bull Bragantino in the Paulista second round. She currently vies mainly with Gabi Zanotti and Jhonson and can play wide.

Corinthians have also begun talks to renew Colombian forward Gisela Robledo, whose deal runs to 31 August 2026. Six others are in the final months of contracts to 31 December and can sign pre-contracts now, namely Ana Morganti, Lelê, Agustina Barroso, Thaís Regina, Vic Albuquerque and Carol Nogueira.

The Brabas return on 17 July, hosting Ferroviária at 19:00 at Fazendinha in the Paulista fourth round. They sit second on four points, with the leaders on nine.
