Corinthians' player ratings laid bare a poor collective display in defeat to Internacional at Neo Química Arena in the 10th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
According to Globo.com, goalkeeper Hugo Souza made a first-half save that followed an offside, struggled with distribution, and could not prevent the visitors' goal. At seven minutes, Angileri's cross carried some threat, but he was otherwise quiet and did not provide the usual left-side outlet compared with Matheus Bidu.
At 25 minutes Raniele headed wide from a corner, Corinthians' first attempt. Three minutes later Hugo Souza produced that save. Matheuzinho was contained and offered little going forward, André Ramalho's passing was loose and Gustavo Henrique was often poorly positioned and ineffective in the air.
Matheus Pereira misplaced passes, offered little defensively and was withdrawn at half-time. Garro's 13th-minute free-kick of the second half went straight to Rochet, and his late long-range effort carried no danger. André failed to impose himself physically, and Lingard, on his first start, looked short of fitness and had little impact.
Breno Bidon struggled again, Labyad was peripheral, and Yuri Alberto was isolated with no shots. Late substitutes Dieguinho, Pedro Raul and Vitinho had too little time to influence matters.
Head coach Dorival Júnior received a poor assessment as his side went nine matches without a win. The team lacked fluency in attack, a Garro and Bidon pairing after the break did not work, and the defence lacked balance.
