Corinthians drew 1-1 at Cruzeiro in the fourth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro on Wednesday night, João Pedro Tchoca heading a late equaliser that extended the club's spread of scorers. According to Meu Timao, Corinthians now have 13 different players on the scoresheet this season.

The goal came in the 36th minute of the second half, shortly after right-back William had been sent off. Rodrigo Garro swung in a corner and João Pedro Tchoca rose highest to nod in.

He shares fifth place in the club's scoring chart with Dieguinho, Kayke, André Ramalho, Gustavo Henrique, Gui Negão, Rodrigo Garro, Vitinho and Matheus Bidu, all on one goal.

Ahead of them are André Luiz, Gabriel Paulista and Breno Bidon, each with two goals, while Yuri Alberto leads with three. The centre-forward is currently sidelined after sustaining a grade 2 muscle injury to the left biceps femoris.

The draw in Belo Horizonte leaves Corinthians third on seven points, three behind São Paulo Futebol Clube and Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, second and first respectively.

Next up is the Campeonato Paulista semi-final at 20:30 on Saturday against Grêmio Novorizontino at Estádio Doutor Jorge Ismael de Biasi, with João Pedro available.
