Corinthians reveal line-up to face Sport away in the Brasileirão

On the afternoon of this Sunday, the 21st, Corinthians returns to the field for the Brazilian Championship. In a match valid for the 24th round of the competition, Timão heads to Recife, where they will face Sport at Ilha do Retiro, at 5:30 PM (Brasília time). The club is looking to continue its recovery in the tournament, where it currently occupies tenth place, with 29 points earned, having registered seven wins, eight draws, and eight losses.

To secure the three points in the match, Timão will have the reinforcement of three important names for the team: midfielders Breno Bidon, José Martínez, and Raniele. The first served a suspension in the previous round, and the other two have recovered from injuries. All of them are among the 25 players listed for the match.

On the other hand, other players will be unavailable for coach Dorival Júnior this Sunday. Still in the medical department are André Carrillo (ligament injury in the left ankle), Charles (in transition with physical preparation), Rodrigo Garro (muscle injury in the right calf), and Memphis Depay (edema in the posterior muscle of the right thigh). Finally, Gui Negão is suspended for the match.

Given this, coach Dorival Júnior has lined up Corinthians with a starting eleven formed by Hugo Souza; Matheuzinho, André Ramalho, Gustavo Henrique, and Angileri; Martínez, Maycon, Matheus Bidu, and Breno Bidon; Vitinho and Yuri Alberto. On the bench, the following players are available: Felipe Longo, Félix Torres, Romero, Raniele, Cacá, Kayke, Ryan, Talles Magno, Hugo, João Pedro, André, and Dieguinho.

After this Sunday’s match, Corinthians keeps its focus on the Brazilian Championship, and on the next Sunday, the 28th, at 8:30 PM (Brasília time), will host Flamengo at Neo Química Arena for the 25th round of the Brasileirão.
