Corinthians have signed a new contract with Indigo, which runs parking at the Neo Química Arena, with an announcement expected on Wednesday. According to Meu Timao, the deal grants the club 35% of net monthly parking revenue and has Indigo funding about 2,000 new seats in the Leste Superior.
The new stands will be permanent, but work will only begin once the necessary approvals are issued. The project cost has not been disclosed.
The agreement also settles an outstanding debt of about R$ 2.5 million owed by Corinthians to Indigo.
Parking management was contested through 2025 under president Augusto Melo, with the club exploring a switch due to low returns and wrangles over any break fee. MultiPark held advanced talks in May last year, but no change was formalised.
Indigo has operated the car park since 2018. The contract barred removal for 120 months and ruled out termination for cause, while termination without cause was only possible after the first 10 years in the event of automatic renewal. In March 2025, emails with Ernst & Young put the early break fee at R$ 12,630,915.
Another clause exempted Indigo from rent when annual net revenue was R$ 4.888 million or lower, subject to yearly adjustments, which meant no monthly payments to the club. In February 2025, Indigo raised prices to R$ 170 in E2 and E3, up 21%, and to R$ 140 in E4 and E5, up 27%, after the previous rise in 2023.
