Corinthians lost 2-0 to Coritiba at Neo Química Arena on Wednesday night, a fifth-round Brasileirão setback that confirmed their longest winless run of 2026.
According to Meu Timao.
The sequence now stands at four matches without a victory, against Portuguesa and Novorizontino in the Paulista, and Cruzeiro and Coritiba in the league.
Although Corinthians advanced past Portuguesa on penalties, the tie is recorded as a draw because it finished 1-1 in normal time.
The club last endured a run like this late last year, from 23 November to 7 December, when they lost to Cruzeiro and Fortaleza and drew with Botafogo and Juventude. All four were in the Brasileirão and came before the Copa do Brasil semi-finals.
An earlier slump arrived between May and June 2025. They were beaten by Huracán of Argentina in the Sudamericana and by Red Bull Bragantino in the league, and drew with Atlético Mineiro, Vitória and Grêmio in the Brasileirão.
Corinthians now visit Santos on Sunday for the Clássico Alvinegro at Vila Belmiro, kick-off 16:00, in the sixth round of the Brasileirão.
