Corinthians trio called up for friendlies with the women's national team

Three Corinthians players will represent the Brazilian Women's National Team in the upcoming FIFA date. In a ceremony held last Thursday, the 9th, coach Arthur Elias announced the list of selected players for the friendlies against England and Italy, in the last week of October.

Among those called up are Mariza, Thaís Ferreira, and Duda Sampaio. The trio is with Corinthians in the Women's Libertadores and, after the championship concludes, they will join the Canarinho. Currently, Timão is focused on the quarterfinals, where they face Boca Juniors.

The first match of the commitment window is scheduled to take place on October 25, against England, at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. The match against Italy will happen three days later, on the 28th, at Stadio Ennio Tardini in Parma. The times will be announced soon.

U-20 Women's National Team Call-up

In addition to the main team, the U-20 team will also use the FIFA date for preparation under the command of Camilla Orlando. In the released list, two players from Corinthians U-20 were called up for the two matches against Mexico, scheduled to take place in Goiânia.

The two Corinthians players called up were Rafa Rocha and Gaby Tomé. Both are part of the youth team and are in the decisive phase of the U-20 Women's Paulista Championship, with an important match against Palmeiras next week.
