Corinthians women honoured by FIFA with certificate and medal at Copa das Campeãs | OneFootball

According to Meu Timao, Corinthians' women's delegation were presented with a certificate and a medal by FIFA on arrival in England for the Copa das Campeãs, the inaugural Women's Club World Cup.

The Brabas had travelled on Tuesday, and players and staff shared the tribute on social media, expressing pride at representing the club.

Forward Caroline Nogueira used Instagram to reflect on resilience and gratitude, stressing that winning is about rising after falls and keeping eyes on the next objective.

The tournament marks a historic step for the women's game with record prize money. Champions will receive US$ two point three million, runners-up US$ one million, and beaten semi-finalists US$ 200 thousand each, equivalents of R$ 12.1 million, R$ five point two million and R$ one million respectively.

Corinthians are preparing at Barnet FC's facilities until the 28th, when they face Gotham FC of the United States in a single semi-final at Gtech Community Stadium at nine thirty Brasília time.

Arsenal meet AS FAR in the other semi on the same day. The final and third-place match are scheduled for 1 February.
