Corinthians Women ready to face Always Ready-BOL, still unbeaten

Corinthians returns to the field this Sunday, the 5th, for the Women's Copa Libertadores. In a match valid for the second round of Group A, the Brabas face Always Ready-BOL at the Nuevo Francisco Urbano Stadium, in Morón, Argentina, looking to bounce back in the competition after stumbling in their debut, when they only drew 1-1 with Dragonas Independiente del Valle-EQU.

The team's preparation for the match was completed this Saturday, the 4th. After a physical workout at the gym, the squad headed to CT Campeones del Mundo, where, under the guidance of coach Lucas Piccinato, the players took part in tactical and technical training. In total, the session lasted about 50 minutes.

One of the team's trump cards to believe in victory this Sunday is Corinthians' track record against Always Ready, who have already crossed paths with the alvinegro side in two other editions of the Libertadores, resulting in two routs by Timão. The first happened in 2022, when the People’s Team won the match 5-0, and the second occurred the following year, when the rout was even greater: 6-0.

After facing Always Ready this Sunday, Corinthians will still have one more fixture in the first phase of the Copa Libertadores. Next Wednesday, the 8th, the Brabas play against Independiente Santa Fe-COL at the Florencio Sola Stadium, in Banfield. The top two teams in Group A qualify for the knockout stage of the competition.
