A court has suspended the meeting that removed Romeu Tuma Júnior from the presidency of Corinthians' council, in an interim ruling that prevents the removal from taking effect until a final decision.
According to Meu Timao, the session took place on five July and was marked by controversy and discontent among council members.

Supporters of Tuma welcomed the judicial move, arguing he should remain in charge of the council to help preserve stability in the club’s management.
Corinthians has not yet commented officially on the court’s decision.
There is an expectation that the board will seek a swift resolution to the situation.
