Spurs will need to improve on last year’s early exit
Tottenham return to the Carabao Cup when they travel to Championship side Coventry on Wednesday.
So much is made about the trophy drought at Spurs and Ange Postecoglou would no doubt love to be the manager who finally delivers a first piece silverware since Juande Ramos won this competition for the club in 2008.
Having exited in truly disappointing fashion at an early stage of the tournament last year, Spurs will be expected to progress this time around. After losing the north London derby on Sunday, they could certainly do with a lift.
Here’s everything you need to know about the game.
Coventry vs Tottenham is scheduled for an 8pm BST kick-off time on Wednesday 18 September, 2024.
The Coventry Building Society Arena in Coventry will host.
TV channel: The game will be broadcast on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra HDR.
Live stream: Subscribers will be able to watch on a live stream via the Sky Go app.

It’s difficult to imagine Spurs making too many changes, given what happened last year. At this stage, Richarlison, Yves Bissouma and Will Lankshear are the only likely enforced absences.
Spurs may not yet have fully convinced this season but it would be a surprise not to see them progress.
