Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan are reportedly at risk of taking on Sassuolo without away support in their upcoming league showdown.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, that’s the consequence of a notorious incident that overshadowed Inter’s win at Cremonese on Sunday.
In an act of madness, an away supporter hurled a firecracker only a couple of meters away from Emil Audero.
Though the former Nerazzurri goalkeeper emerged unscathed, the Sports Judge has fined the San Siro giants with €50,000.

Cristian Chivu’s men are unlikely to get away with a financial punishment alone.
Indeed, Inter could be staring down the barrel of a three-game ban on away supporters, starting with Sunday’s match at the Mapei Stadium.
Furthermore, Beppe Marotta has already outlined the club’s intent to eradicate such dangerous fan behavior from future games.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri are entertaining the prospect of banning the culprit from San Siro.
As confirmed by the club’s president, Inter will distance themselves from violent ultras.
