Nagelsmann praises mental strength

The Bayern keeper’s personality is at the heart of his argument: „Despite his young age, he has shown extremely good mental strength. He was thrown in at the deep end and immediately impressed in the Champions League.“

It is precisely this ability to function under pressure that Urbig emphasizes from the national coach’s point of view. Added to this is his footballing quality, which is becoming increasingly important in the modern goalkeeping game. „He’s a very good footballer, he knows a lot of the guys here,“ explained Nagelsmann
