Crucial meetings for Milan, Rangnick and Glasner booked: Dates revealed | OneFootball

The latest updates confirm that a series of crucial meetings will take place on Monday and Tuesday next week, involving Ralf Rangnick, the Austrian FA and Oliver Glasner, who is among the candidates under consideration for the vacant Milan head coach role.

When will Milan meet with Glasner?

It is an uncertain time for Milan, who currently have no head coach, sporting director, technical director nor CEO following the departures of Massimiliano Allegri, Igli Tare, Geoffrey Moncada and Giorgio Furlani the day after the Serie A season ended.

Owners RedBird are now tasked with rebuilding the senior management team and reports over the last few days indicate that Ralf Rangnick is currently the leading candidate to take over the sporting sector of the club.

Rangnick made a name for himself in Germany by leading TSG Hoffenheim to consecutive promotions and would later go on to serve as Red Bull’s director of football. He is credited with influencing the likes of Jurgen Klopp, Thomas Tuchel, Julian Nagelsmann and Oliver Glasner among various other German and Austrian tacticians.

Rangnick is currently serving as head coach of the Austria national team, and according to the latest updates from Fabrizio Romano (via Milannews.it), he will sit down with the local FA to discuss his future on Monday.

The Austrian FA are reportedly keen to tie Rangnick down to a new contract, but the German is aware of the opportunity that could await him in Milan.

Meanwhile, the aforementioned Glasner is among the current frontrunners to land the vacant Milan head coach role. He is one of the coaches that Rangnick knows well and is fresh off winning his third trophy with Crystal Palace, defeating Rayo Vallecano to claim the 2025-26 Conference League.

According to the latest Fabrizio Romano update, Glasner will meet with the remaining representatives from Milan on Tuesday.
