Cruzeiro beat Atlético-MG 1-0 to clinch the Campeonato Mineiro, but the match was overshadowed by a mass brawl.
Seconds before the final whistle at the Mineirão, a melee erupted and 23 players were dismissed, 12 from Cruzeiro and 11 from Atlético-MG, the most red cards in Brazilian football history. Coluna Do Fla reports that the suspensions will not affect the match against Flamengo. Punishments apply only to the Campeonato Mineiro.

Former Flamengo players Gerson and Fabrício Bruno were among those cautioned during the melee.
Flamengo host Cruzeiro at the Maracanã at 21:30 Brasília time on Wednesday 11, in the fifth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
The game will be shown on Rede Globo free-to-air and on Premiere pay-per-view.
