Crystal Palace have moved for 19-year-old Brest centre-back Raphaël Le Guen after only six senior outings. According to L'Équipe, the London club have reached agreement on personal terms as they line him up to replace Maxence Lacroix.

Lacroix is close to joining Chelsea, prompting Palace to accelerate talks. Le Guen is under contract with Brest until 2029.

An initial offer is expected to land with Brest in the coming days.

The Ligue 1 club are reluctant to sell, unless a significant proposal arrives.

Fulham have also expressed interest, though their pursuit is not as advanced as Palace's.
