Crystal Palace have reportedly turned their attention to alternative managerial targets after Andoni Iraola decided to stay at Bournemouth.

Oliver Glasner has already announced he will leave Palace when his contract expires this summer.

However, Sky Sports claims the Spaniard wants to stay at Bournemouth unless a big club comes calling.

Palace could step up their interest in Thomas Frank, who is available after being sacked by Tottenham Hotspur in February.

Frank is a tactically astute manager who had an excellent stint at Brentford.

He failed to make a similar impact at Tottenham, despite being well supported by the club’s hierarchy in the transfer market.

Bournemouth have offered Iraola a new contract, but he has yet to give the club a definitive answer.

The Spaniard is widely regarded as one of the best coaches in Europe.

He transformed Bournemouth after taking charge in June 2023.

His team finished the 2023-24 season with a best-ever 48 points in the Premier League, securing 12th place.

Bournemouth improved their league position the following campaign, finishing 9th in the table.

Iraola’s impressive work in the Premier League has attracted interest from Athletic Bilbao in his native Basque region.

Ernesto Valverde has announced he will leave Athletic at the end of the season, and they want Iraola to succeed him.
