Cuca names revamped Santos line-up to face Cruzeiro | OneFootball

Cuca has named a reworked Santos line-up for the trip to Cruzeiro at Mineirão, his first selection since returning to the club. Diario Do Peixe reports that it features several changes.

Kick-off is at 16:00 on Sunday in the eighth round of the Brasileirão. The XI is Gabriel Brazão in goal, Igor Vinicius, Lucas Veríssimo, Luan Peres and Escobar in defence, Oliva, Gustavo Henrique and Gabriel Menino in midfield, Barreal, Rony and Moisés in attack.

It includes first starts for Lucas Veríssimo, Oliva and Gustavo Henrique, while Gabriel Menino and Moisés also return. Rony is expected to lead the line.

On the bench are Diógenes, Adonis Frias, Zé Ivaldo, João Ananias, Rafael Gonzaga, Willian Arão, João Schmidt, Gabriel Bontempo, Tomás Rincón, Rollheiser, Thaciano and Robinho Jr.

There are four absences: Neymar is managed for load and injury prevention, Gabriel Barbosa and Lautaro Díaz cannot face their loaning club, and Miguelito is with the Bolivia national team.

Zé Rafael is available again after a semimembranosus muscle oedema in his right thigh, and Gabriel Bontempo returns following a back strain.
