Cuca puts Santos through technical drills as Neymar and Mayke work indoors

Santos continued preparations at CT Rei Pelé for the ninth-round meeting with Remo at Vila Belmiro on Thursday at 19:00 Brasília time, as Cuca oversaw a technical session. Neymar and Mayke remained on indoor programmes.

According to Globo.com, Neymar is expected to resume outdoor training on Friday.

Rested for the draw with Cruzeiro on Sunday in the eighth round, Neymar is expected to start against Remo.

Thursday's session opened with physical conditioning, then Cuca led technical drills, including one v one duels. The heat pushed physical demands as temperatures topped 30°C.

Cuca was also without Miguelito, who is with Bolivia for a World Cup play-off during the FIFA international window.

Santos will continue morning sessions at CT Rei Pelé in the coming days, and Cuca is expected to begin settling his line-up early next week.
