According to L'Équipe, former AS Monaco assistant Damien Perrinelle is expected to become Red Star's next head coach.
The club should name the 42-year-old in the coming hours.

Red Star, who play in the second tier, have been without a head coach since Grégory Poirier left. They finished fourth last season.
Perrinelle has spent much of his coaching career as an assistant at Monaco. He left the club at the end of May when his contract expired.
As a player, he featured for Clermont from 2005 to 2007 and from 2010 to 2013, for Istres in 2014, and for the New York Red Bulls from 2014 to 2018 in MLS.
