Daniel Farke struck an upbeat note by saying everyone is back, yet he cautioned Leeds United are far from fully ready for Sunday’s FA Cup trip to West Ham, with late calls likely on key selections.
The head coach revealed the full group will not train together until two days before the tie. According to Leedsunited.news, he said several players are carrying minor knocks, so availability will not automatically mean readiness.
Returns have been staggered and uneven in condition. Some, such as Gudmundsson, came back lively, while others have struggled after international travel and workloads.
Anton Stach missed training earlier in the week because of a hip problem, though he returned once Germany’s schedule allowed an early release.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin experienced a hamstring issue after extensive travel and was sent for a scan. Farke hopes he could rejoin training quickly but could not say if he will be available on Sunday.
Noah Okafor’s situation adds to the uncertainty. Recalled by Switzerland yet unused, he has clarified an injury was the reason, placing him among those available but short of peak sharpness. Farke also noted the emotional load of players pursuing World Cup ambitions.
