Daniel Farke: It’s a good point on the road | OneFootball

Leeds United picked up another point and clean sheet away from home on Monday night, after a goalless draw against Burnley.

The Whites travelled to Turf Moor and controlled large parts of the match against the third-placed Clarets, but couldn’t find a way through in a match without many chances.

Speaking after the game, Daniel Farke gave his thoughts to the media.

He said: “It’s a good result for us, a good point on the road, happy with our defensive behaviour, happy with the clean sheet.

“We have had a really difficult game here, it’s two of the best sides in the league against each other and difficult circumstances, also with the weather.

“They are on a massive unbeaten run as well, especially in the home games. And if you then come away with a good point, with a clean sheet on the board, it's always a good result.

“I can't say that it was an unbelievable advertisement, so I wouldn't say it was the nicest piece of football.

“But it's quite often when the best sides in the league, or two of the best sides play against each other, that no one is here with a mistake.

“Quite often it looks a bit like a chess game, so it was not the most entertaining one. But our supporters have a good knowledge of the game, they know how complicated it is to play against such a side.”
