Arnaut Danjuma faces at least two weeks out with a psoas injury, a lay-off that could stretch to 2-3 weeks, Cope Valencia reports. If that timeline holds, the Valencia winger would miss the derbies against Levante UD and Villarreal CF.

He has not trained normally this week and medical tests have confirmed a muscle problem.

His absence at the Ciutat could open a starting spot for Diego López, or Carlos Corberán could use Javi Guerra at pivot, as contemplated against Real Madrid.

After the 0-2 defeat to Real Madrid at Mestalla, Danjuma defended Corberán’s work, indicating the head coach is giving everything for the club.

He also called for greater concentration across the full 90 minutes from the squad. Valencia have only a one-point cushion above the drop, and Rayo Vallecano, with a game in hand, could push them into the relegation zone.
