Jarrod Bowen has committed his future to West Ham
West Ham will be targeting automatic promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt next season.
The Hammers finished 18th in the top flight, two points adrift of safety, to end their 14-year stint in the division.
The London outfit are back in training for pre-season already, but a number of players could yet follow Mateus Fernandes out the door due to their relegation.
However, one player that has committed his future to the Irons is Jarrod Bowen, who has confirmed that he is going nowhere this summer.
This will come as a boost to Nuno Espírito Santo, who will want to build a team capable of a top two finish in the Championship.
West Ham have until 1 September to complete their remaining transfer business before the market shuts.

Actor Danny Dyer has claimed that Bowen will go down as the greatest player in West Ham’s history by the time his career is over following confirmation that he will be staying.
The winger is already the club captain, and has led the Irons to the 2023 UEFA Conference League, and will now be seeking promotion in 2027.
“Will become our greatest ever player,” wrote Dyer, via Instagram.
She also responded to the announcement that the 29-year-old is staying, posting five love heart emojis.
Bowen initially joined the Hammers in the 2020 January transfer window, and he has cemented himself as a modern legend already with his performances in that time.
The forward has contributed 65 goals and 49 assists in the Premier League since joining the Championship side.
West Ham fans have echoed Dyer’s sentiment, claiming that a successful promotion campaign this year would put Bowen among the all-time greats for the club.
Supporters have suggested that Bowen is deserving of a statue for his display of loyalty to the Hammers.
The video announcing his commitment to West Ham has made many fans emotional, with anticipation now building for the campaign ahead.
And, ultimately, Bowen’s character as a leader and legend of the club has earned him a lot of praise.
West Ham will begin the new campaign on 16 August with a trip to face Burnley.

Bowen scored the winning goal in a European final for West Ham, which puts him up there as one of their biggest club legends ever.
This move to stay with the London outfit even after relegation will only further cement his legacy, and he will forever be paired with the Hammers now.
It is also a huge boost for Espirito Santo to have someone of his quality in the team, and will put West Ham among the favourites for automatic promotion.
