The Blues are gearing up for a critical summer, where they are expected to be busy, with a number of reinforcements required in key areas of the squad.
New manager Xabi Alonso has a huge job on his hands, but it’s believed he’ll have a say in transfers, and it’ll be interesting to see who he does and doesn’t want.
Chelsea are said to be looking for a centre back, whilst it’s believed they want to add another midfielder and attacker.
The Blues already have Geovany Quenda, Emmanuel Emegha and Valentin Barco joining this summer, with more signings expected.
Behdad Eghbali has stated the recruitment model will be tweaked this summer, and Chelsea could do with reinforcements in the wide areas.
Chelsea are reportedly open to selling Alejandro Garnacho after a disappointing season in which he scored just one league goal.
There are also doubts over the future of Pedro Neto, whilst Chelsea have been linked with Bowen, and Bent thinks he’d be a good signing.
During a discussion with Rory Jennings on talkSPORT he said:
“You talk about Jarrod Bowen, would you take him at Chelsea?”, before Jennings replied: “He’s certainly better than what we have in those positions. I rate Bowen really highly, yes I’d take him.
“I look at his productivity, his outgoings, his assists and goals, he’ll give you [Chelsea] a lot more than what your boys have given you.
Jennings added: “He’s a better player than Pedro Neto, he’s a better player than Alejandro Garnacho.
Bent replied: “Oh, 100%. But Chelsea can get him. Even if you got him on loan for a year and see what happens, I think he would be a good signing.”
Manchester City are reportedly interested in Marc Cucurella, with the Spaniard facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are also said to be interested in Cucurella, who has two years left on his deal, and has made no secret he’d be open to a return to Spain.
