Decisive figure seals Stoke City win

Sorba Thomas settled the contest in the 60th minute with a right-footed finish, as Stoke City beat Swansea City 2-1.

He arrived onto Bae Jun-Ho's cross to steer into the bottom corner (60.), capping a sweeping move after the restart and giving Stoke the cushion they needed.

Thomas stayed prominent at dead balls, swinging in the corner that Ashley Phillips headed just wide (71.), as Swansea struggled to deal with his delivery.

He finished with one goal from his only attempt, two chances created and 11 crosses, a mix of open play and set piece service that kept Swansea pinned back and allowed Stoke to play higher up the pitch.
