Milan Futuro's midweek clash on Matchday 12 in Serie C finished with a defeat at home. Pineto left with the three points in a difficult and unfortunate match for Milan Futuro at the Chinetti: the guests were victorious with a 2-0 win, who went ahead thanks to a Bruzzaniti penalty before Schirone doubled the lead in the second half. A bitter taste which doesn't fully reflect everything seen in the match. The Rossoneri controlled but were not decisive enough, Pineto defended deep for most of the game and were able to make the most of their only chances. Two episodes. A lack of attention led to a penalty which broke the deadlock, while a casual move allowed for Pineto to get their second when it seemed like Milan Futuro were really getting somewhere in the game. Head Coach Bonera's side lacked clarity and conviction in the decisive moments, the team couldn't break down a compact and experienced defence. Pineto were more clinical but didn't show much to prove that they deserved the three points, and the match ended in the worst possible way with the sending off of Coubis in the latter stages of the game. The chance to get back to winning ways is soon: Sunday 3 November - 17:30 CET - we face Pontedera away from home.

MATCH REPORT Milan Futuro started brightly, the first chance came in the fifth minute with a cross from Fall which was met by a Longo header, who directed it over the bar. Pineto stayed compact, the Rossoneri had another chance through Bartesaghi in the 18th minute, whose right-footed shot hit the post. Bonera's side kept pushing forward. In the 28th minute Zeroli's effort didn't seem to trouble Magni's goal, while in the 32nd minute, the visitors' defence blocked attempts from Liberali and Malaspina. At the end of the half, Pineto broke the deadlock: Raveyre made a mistake in the build-up and fouled Gambale as he tried to rectify the mistake, conceding the penalty. Bruzzaniti converted from the spot. 0-1 at the break.
Rossoneri started the second half well. Seconds passed on the clock and Longo found space and played Zeroli in who shot just past the post. Pineto's attitude didn't change, maintaining a solid defence of their goal throughout. In the 63rd minute, Fall's attempt was blocked but Tonti made a save in the corner. Milan Futuro couldn't break down the organised defence of the visitors, and in the 73rd minute the visitors struck again: Bartesaghi cleared and hit Schirone who slid in, the ball hit him and went in to make it 0-2. The Rossoneri didn't quit and pushed again in the 89th minute but Tonti and De Santis denied Fall and Camarda. In the 90th minute Coubis is sent off for blocking Fabrizi in open play, triple blow.
