Bayern Munich have been fined €68,750 by the DFB for fans’ use of pyrotechnics across two matches.

According to BuLi News, the sanctions cover two fixtures. A €50,000 fine was issued for at least 50 pyrotechnic devices against Borussia Mönchengladbach on 25 October, and an €18,750 penalty for at least 15 devices against Heidenheim on 21 December.

The club have not yet issued a statement, though they are likely to pay the fines.

Bayern have already received significant Champions League fines this season for fan breaches against Sporting Lisbon and Arsenal.

Sanctions against supporters also led to the Südkurve being closed for the game with Union Saint-Gilloise in January.
