Manchester City entertained Napoli at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a positive result at home in the UEFA Champions League. Pep Guardiola’s men made a good start to the game and found themselves at a numerical advantage in the 21st minute when Giovanni Di Lorenzo was sent off by the referee. The Mancunian giants went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Erling Haaland opened the goal-scoring in the 56th minute before Jeremy Doku put the match to bed just nine minutes later. The contest finished with Man City securing a solid 2-0 win at the Etihad.
