Artem Dovbyk’s first half of the season has been anything but fortunate.

The Ukrainian striker, who could leave Trigoria in the winter transfer window, returned to action in the match at the Olimpico against De Rossi’s Genoa.

In yesterday’s match at the Via del Mare against Lecce, the last of the first half of the season, the former Girona player came on in the 60th minute in place of Ferguson and found the net after just 11 minutes, effectively sealing the win at 2-0.

In the 86th minute, however, the Ukrainian was forced to leave the field, and tests revealed a minor muscle tear in his left thigh, which will be evaluated day by day.

The number 9 will therefore certainly miss the match against Sassuolo on Saturday, January 10th at 6:00 PM.

Recovery time is expected to be around 2-3 weeks.
