Dundee Utd beat Celtic 2-0 at Tannadice, with Will Ferry and Emmanuel Agyei scoring after the restart, as Celtic stay third in the Premiership.

In the 51st minute, Will Ferry arrived centrally to sweep in after Luca Stephenson's cross broke the deadlock.

Martin O'Neill turned to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sebastian Tounekti (57.), then Luke McCowan replaced the injured Colby Donovan (62.) as the visitors chased a response.

Reo Hatate forced Ashley Maynard-Brewer into a smart, top-corner stop (63.), before Agyei arrowed a low strike from outside the box to double the lead (66.).

McCowan tested Maynard-Brewer again from close range (74.). United carried a persistent threat, finishing with 19 attempts and eight on target. The Bhoys dominated possession at 73.7% but produced only three efforts on target.

United remain seventh. Next, United visit Rangers. The Bhoys go to Dundee.
