Paulo Dybala implied that nothing odd will happen in the summer, therefore, he’ll stay at Roma, and voiced his confidence about being ready for the start of next season in an interview with Mediaset.

“It’s tough to be on the sidelines without being about to do anything. You always wish to be there with your teammates, play, and give your contribution to your coach. I’m aware I’ll be out for a while, and I’m working to recover as quickly as possible. Time is on my side because, even though I know I won’t play again this campaign, it’ll allow me recuperate to be ready for the summer retreat.”

Dybala stated that the Roma owners helped him a lot right after the injury.

“After what occurred against Cagliari, Dan and Ryan Friedkin were the first ones to offer their support in looking for the optimal solution, as there were a few pathways. The one we landed on seemed the best one to make sure there wouldn’t be relapses. Now I want to stay close to the squad as much as possible. If the gaffer allows me to, I’ll be on the bench in every game. Being part of the group helps me. I try not to dwell on the injury.”

Dybala was quizzed about the ongoing coaching search at Roma.

“I’m sure that the management, the boss, and the director, with the final choice by the president, will pick the best possible option. Everybody wants to see this team return to the Champions League. It’s what it deserves. I’m sure the lads will give their whole to try reaching this goal.”
