“We know very well that Roma is a very strong team, especially in attack and in preparing the offensive phase.”

“We wanted to be solid and very compact as a team, to avoid conceding a goal to Roma, and to not concede a goal too early.”

“We conceded a goal from a penalty, which could have been awarded or not, I don’t know. In my opinion, it shouldn’t have been given and obviously that influenced the course of the game.”

“We thought we were dealing well with their attack. In the first half, we had a couple of chances to score. There were moments when Roma scored, and we also scored, but our player was offside.”

“In the second half, we wanted to change something, aware of the strength of the opponent. We tried to take advantage of the right moments to score, maintaining control of the game.”

“Roma played exactly as we expected and as we knew they would. We know that they use the switch of play a lot in the offensive phase, using the flanks to advance. We also know that they try to press us high and regulate the game through individual players.”

“What we expected is exactly what we prepared for this match and how it went. I repeat, Roma are playing in one of the best leagues in Europe, and their level is very high. Their game did not surprise us.”
