The „Team of the Season“ in EA SPORTS FC 26 has been released – and impressively reflects who has shaped the 2025/26 season. Particularly striking: the enormous dominance of FC Bayern. Several top performers from the German record champions have made it into the prestigious selection
Above all, Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Díaz dominate the team’s attack – a trio that also sets standards in real soccer throughout Europe. Kane has once again delivered an outstanding season and is a symbol of efficiency and consistency in finishing. Olise, on the other hand, has developed into one of the most spectacular players in Europe with his creativity and assists, while Díaz poses problems for any defence with his pace and penetrating power
However, Munich are not only strongly represented in attack. Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlović also set the tone in midfield. Kimmich once again confirms his role as a strategic mind, while Pavlović has taken the next step in his development with impressive control of the game and a strong presence
In defence, two Bayern professionals, Jonathan Tah and Dayot Upamecano, are in the squad, both of whom have developed into key players under Vincent Kompany and provide stability in a team that is otherwise heavily focused on attack
This Bayern axis runs through all parts of the team – a clear indication of how dominant the record champions have been this season
Despite Munich’s superiority, other Bundesliga stars also feature in the team. Gregor Kobel impresses as Borussia Dortmund’s stalwart back-up and deservedly secures his place in goal. In front of him, Nico Schlotterbeck organizes the Black & Yellows‘ defence and also brings a goal threat from set-pieces
Luka Vušković is a real surprise talent in the squad. The 19-year-old from Hamburger SV has established himself as one of the most exciting defenders in Europe and underlines the growing importance of young players in international soccer
Angelo Stiller from VfB Stuttgart completes the ensemble in midfield, where he pulls the strings in the center and provides structure to his team’s play
The Team of the Season shows one thing above all: the 2025/26 season was characterized by offensive power, individual class and a new generation of leaders. The fact that FC Bayern made up the largest block is hardly surprising given the performances on show.
