Eintracht Frankfurt have extended CEO Axel Hellmann’s contract until 2031, the club said in a statement.
The supervisory board approved the new deal on Wednesday for the 54-year-old, who joined the board in 2012 and became CEO in 2021.
Hellmann said he is looking forward to the next five years and thanked the supervisory board and Mathias Beck for their trust.
He described Eintracht’s recent years as an extraordinary journey, citing stronger finances, a widely recognised brand at home and abroad, and leadership in digital activity. He said the plan is to continue with clear strategy and a professional set-up alongside his board colleagues.
Club president Mathias Beck highlighted close cooperation and mutual trust between the club’s bodies as central to success. He added that Hellmann’s extension offers planning security to maintain strategic direction, economic competitiveness and sustainable growth for members, fans, partners and the region.
