Slot 'hoping' Isak injury 'doesn't have to be that bad'
Liverpool have finally stopped the rot as they came from behind to thrash Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 in the Champions League.
After a bright start by the hosts, it looked like more misery for the Reds as former Leeds right-back Rasmus Kristensen finished off a gorgeous move to put Frankfurt in front, only for former Eintracht man Hugo Ekitike to equalise shortly after.
Liverpool stayed in control after the break, with Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai adding to their advantage as Arne Slot's side broke their four-game losing streak.
Liverpool are back to winning ways and in good time too - because in just a couple short weeks, they’ll be playing host to Real Madrid.
Anfield will be an absolute cauldron that night. We can’t look forward to it enough.
For now, Liverpool can enjoy that victorious feeling. It’s been a minute.
