Endrick is taking Ligue 1 by storm, and it is clear that his loan is turning out to be a phenomenal success.
Having left Real Madrid just last month, the player has enjoyed an explosive start to life in France and is making a strong case to return to Spain. In fact, word has it that the club have already decided on his return in June and see it as non-negotiable.
Notably, Endrick is not the only Real Madrid striker to have played for Olympique Lyon, for even Karim Benzema had a significant part of his career in the French club.
Playing for the club in his home country, the now Al-Hilal player played in the Lyon first team between 2005 and 2009 media eventually joining Real Madrid.
Speaking to the media in a recent interview, the Real Madrid youngster spoke out on how Karim Benzema is an inspiration to him but comparisons to the legend at this stage of his career were overdrawn.

“It’s very good for me because he’s a great player, an incredible player, who was the best in the world,” he began.
Speaking on the stratospheric difference between the Real Madrid legend and him, Endrick said,
“But Karim is light-years ahead of me. I hope he does well at Al Hilal.”
“I’m very happy to be here, where Karim played,” he added, calling it his privilege to be at Lyon.
So far since his move to France, the teenage star has five goals and an assist to his name and is averaging a goal per game. Further, he has taken close to 2.7 shots on target per game and has created two big chances.
