England learn Euro 2025 group stage schedule after difficult draw | OneFootball

The draw for the group stage of Euro 2025 took place in Lausanne on Monday evening as England discovered their opponents and schedule for next summer's final tournament.

Sarina Wiegman's side are the reigning champions after their 2022 triumph, defeating Germany in the final at Wembley Stadium. The Dutch coach also won the tournament with her home nation in 2017, but the 2025 edition of the Euros is set to be her toughest challenge yet.

The Lionesses were drawn into Group D alongside France, Wales and the Netherlands. Elsewhere, 2023 World Cup winners Spain are in group B with Belgium, Portugal and Italy, while Euro 2022 runners-up Germany are in Group C and will face Sweden, Denmark and Poland.

Hosts Switzerland have been placed in Group A and will take on Iceland, Norway and Finland as they kick off the tournament in Basel on 2 July. The top two teams in each group will progress to the knockout phase which begins on 16 July, followed by the final on 27 July, also in Basel.
