Leeds captain Ethan Ampadu has urged a collective push to secure Premier League safety over the final four games after the Wembley setback.

Ampadu helped Leeds reach a first FA Cup semi-final in 39 years, but Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Chelsea ended that run. "Of course. Our aim was to go as far as we can in the FA Cup, take it round by round," he said, speaking to LUTV.

"Once you are here you want to get into the final. We didn't do that but we have got the Premier League and we want to survive and we have got full confidence that if we play like we have been in the last few weeks that we can achieve that."

"We have to now - we didn't give the fans a day to celebrate today so I think we should all get behind each other as we will and then push for these last four."

Daniel Farke’s side host already-relegated Burnley on Friday night. Leeds are 15th, six points above the relegation places, with four fixtures remaining.
