Ethan Ennis: Man United loanee continues to build reputation | OneFootball

Whilst there was no Premier League action on Boxing Day afternoon, there were the traditional Football League fixtures.

Ethan Ennis

The Fleetwood Town winger put in another strong shift for his loan side in their 0-1 defeat to Tranmere Rovers.

Ennis made two key passes and completed six crosses into the box. He was also a threat in attack, having two shots, one of which was on target.

The 21-year-old also helped out defensively, winning five duels and making three clearances during the match. He also won 100% of his tackle attempts during the 90 minutes.

Jack Moorhouse

The Irish midfielder played the entire match as Leyton Orient lost 0-1 to Peterborough United.

He made one key pass and completed both his dribble attempts in the game. Moorhouse also won seven ground duels in a combative showing in the middle of the park.

Harry Amass

Amass played the full match as Sheffield Wednesday drew 2-2 with Hull City in the Championship.

The 18-year-old had one key pass and one successful dribble attempt during the game. The young defender also won one tackle and four ground duels as his side held on to a point.

He also made five clearances and one interception in a decent defensive outing for the Owls.

Dan Gore

The Rotherham United midfielder could do little to prevent his side slipping to a 1-2 defeat to Bolton Wanderers.

He won 100% of his tackles and also completed 100% of his dribble attempts.

Gore also made seven recoveries and won five duels during the midfield battle for supremacy.

Ethan Wheatley

Finally, the young striker played 76 minutes of Northampton Town’s 1-5 loss to Burton Albion.

He had two shots on goal and one key pass but rarely threatened the home side’s defence.

Wheatley also won three duels in the match.
