Eustáquio likely to rejoin Porto as LA FC expected to pass on clause | OneFootball

LA FC are not expected to take up their 7.25 million dollars option by 30 June, so Eustáquio is poised to return to Porto for the final year of his contract.

According to O Jogo, the clause was agreed in February at about 6.3 million euros, and the midfielder has signalled a return while stressing his focus on Canada at the World Cup.

Even so, his next step may not be at the Dragão, with approaches from Europe and North America. Porto are in no rush, believing the tournament could enhance the value of the 29-year-old. Farioli admires his leadership, though minutes could be limited.

With LA FC he featured in 14 matches, scoring one and supplying one assist, and missed weeks with a muscle problem after colliding with a referee.

Despite a positive impact, LA FC are thought unlikely to buy 100 percent of his rights, preferring to negotiate below the initial figure.

Only Tomás Pérez remains out on loan until December with Atlético Mineiro. Samuel Portugal, Iván Jaime and Gabriel Veron are set to return after options for the first two, worth about 7.2 million euros, were not triggered, and only Iván Jaime is tied beyond 2026/27.

Deniz Gul ended the season as a starter, and Porto remain open to a good offer. Linked with Türkiye’s leading clubs but without bids, he began the last two World Cup friendlies and hopes to boost his value. If nothing moves, he will stay next season alongside, for now, Samu.
