According to Sunderland Echo, Everton have reportedly joined Sunderland and Leeds United in the pursuit of Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu, valued at £20m.
The 22-year-old is expected to attract significant interest this summer following the club’s relegation, with several teams monitoring his situation ahead of a possible move.
Fatawu has been among Leicester’s standout performers despite a difficult campaign, building on the form that helped secure promotion in 2023-24. He has impressed in the Championship with nine goals and seven assists, and he ranks highly for dribbles, chances created and touches in the opposition box.
His direct ball-carrying and attacking output appeal to clubs seeking pace and creativity out wide. Everton are looking to strengthen their attack and view him as a potential option for next season, with Sunderland and Leeds also tracking him.
There is growing expectation he could depart the King Power Stadium this summer. A recent social media message thanked supporters and expressed disappointment with the season, which some have taken as a hint towards a move. He did not set out his intentions, but the tone has fuelled speculation over his long-term future after the drop.
