Haber Global reports that Everton are prepared to meet a £30m valuation for Fenerbahçe defender Jayden Oosterwolde as they target a summer defensive rebuild.
The 25-year-old Dutchman has risen quickly in the Süper Lig in Türkiye, and a Premier League switch is being framed as one of the window’s standout defensive moves.
Fenerbahçe’s board are said to have approved a sale at the right price, with his market value viewed as peaking after dominant domestic and European displays.
Oosterwolde’s recovery pace, strength and versatility have made him popular in Istanbul. Comfortable as an assertive left-back or a ball-carrying centre-back, he suits Everton’s plan to add speed and modernise their back line.
The timing aligns with Everton’s intention to climb the Premier League in the 2026/27 season, prioritising younger players with upside and resale potential.
Signed from Parma, he has shown he can adapt to new leagues and pressure, which makes him a relatively low-risk, high-upside option for the Toffees.
While Fenerbahçe are reluctant to lose a defensive pillar, the scale of the offer may prove persuasive, with funds likely to be recycled into the squad amid presidential election pledges.
For Oosterwolde, Goodison Park would be a major platform in his push for regular Netherlands selection. Talks are expected to pick up after the international window, with Everton keen to act before rivals move.
