Exclusive claims that PSG “not in” for rising Premier League stars despite rumours | OneFootball

Eli Junior Kroupi is a name we’re seeing mentioned a lot in connection with PSG – but one French source is saying he’s not a target.

There are a few really top tier attacking talents who have been named in connection with PSG this summer. Julian Alvarez, Yan Diomande, and Eli Junior Kroupi probably top the list.

But according to an exclusive today from Get French Football News, that last name can be removed. They say that they “understand that Kroupi is not a target PSG

They mention Diomande as well as Maghnes Akliouche of Monaco as potential alternatives.

Kroupi not a PSG target for the time being

We wouldn’t rule out Kroupi interest on the basis of this one report. However it’s pretty clear he’s going to be astronomically expensive this summer, with Bournemouth apparently wanting more than €100m. At that price, you might prefer to go with the more established Alvarez.

Long term, we certainly see Kroupi tempted with a return to France, and PSG would surely be a club he’s very interested in joining. If his incredible upwards trajectory continues, we don’t expect this to be end of the stories connecting him with a move to Paris.

Even without Kroupi joining Bradley Barcola could leave PSG this summer, with talks planned about his future. There is interest from Premier League teams – it all depends on what he wants to do.

PSG are already lining up a young talent to arrive this summer – a goalkeeper from Italy who has been making waves for AC Milan.
