An exclusive report claims that they know how Chelsea’s owners will respond to Enzo Maresca’s public comments on Saturday.

Enzo Maresca’s comments after Chelsea’s win against Everton on Saturday afternoon seemed to come out of nowhere.

The Italian claimed he felt a lack of support at the club. He made it clear this wasn’t addressed to the fans, and follow up reports from insiders today have confirmed that it was aimed at figures within the club.

The Blues boss was then warned to keep his mouth shut by one pundit reviewing the comments made and says it could not end well in these situations.

Maresca has clearly been left frustrated by the sporting directors and/or owners getting too involved with what he is doing and questioning him for a number of decisions he has been making. It’s just wild that it’s all come out in public.

Well, according to an exclusive from Football Insider, they will do absolutely nothing.

Enzo Maresca’s job at Chelsea is not under threat despite some striking comments after their win against Everton, says the report.

Their sources say that Maresca’s admission of discontent will not put his job at risk, with owner Todd Boehly keen to give him as long as possible to get things right with the team.

I don’t believe this, personally

There is no way that anyone will convince me that this has not put his job under threat. There is certainly a lot more pressure and tension on him now and to be honest, I believe there has been anyway behind the scenes.

I’m not sure they will pull the trigger on Maresca yet, but I think it’s gone deeper than what is being reported, especially in this article above.
