Ezze Seguros has tabled a plan that could help keep Memphis Depay at Corinthians.
According to Meu Timao, the insurer aims to find common ground by renewing its sponsorship and involving Memphis in a new product.
Ezze, on the shirt since 2024, has formally asked to renew a deal that runs to July after a six-month extension in January. It proposes maintaining current, undisclosed payments and is awaiting a board reply.
The company is looking to use Memphis as the face of its new Ezze Seguro A10 and to make him a shareholder. That stake would be an incentive to remain in Brazil and with Corinthians.
Co-founder Ivo Jucá Machado has travelled to Ibiza, Spain, where the Dutchman is on post-World Cup holiday, with former Corinthians finance chief and Memphis Depay friend Pedro Silveira also involved.
Any Ezze-Memphis arrangement hinges on the forward signing a new deal with Corinthians. His contract runs until 31 July, he has yet to agree an extension and has received an offer on lower terms than at present.
Contrary to the initial projection, Corinthians expect him at CT Joaquim Grava next weekend, which would mark 25 days of holiday since the Netherlands’ World Cup exit. That would place his return in the final week of his contract.
Since arriving at Parque São Jorge in September 2024, he has played 79 games, scored 20 with 15 assists, and won the 2025 Campeonato Paulista and Copa do Brasil plus the 2026 Supercopa do Brasil.
