Over the past couple of summers, Real Madrid have sold two very promising academy talents to Serie A up-and-comers Como 1907.

Back in the summer of 2024, it was Nico Paz who made the switch from the Spanish capital to Italy. Last year, it was Jacobo Ramon who followed in the footsteps of his former teammate.

And, it is safe to say that the move has worked wonders for both players as they have developed wonderfully during their time under Cesc Fabregas at Como.

So much so that, Real Madrid are set to exercise their buyback option for Nico Paz this summer, while they intend to do the same with Ramon in 2027.

Daniel Yanez on Como’s radar

Now, according to reports in Italy, as relayed by AS, Fabregas has now set his sights on yet another young prospect coming through the ranks at Real Madrid – Daniel Yanez.

Indeed, the former Barcelona midfielder turned manager wants to take the 19-year-old forward from Real Madrid to Como in the summer.

Currently a part of the Castilla setup, Yanez has been at Real Madrid since 2019 when he joined La Fabrica from the Cadiz academy.

The teenage winger has 28 league appearances for Castilla this season, recording four goals and three assists.

Yanez made his first-team debut for Real Madrid back in December 2024, under then-manager Carlo Ancelotti. He has played one more game for the senior team, which came this season, in which he also recorded an assist.

Yanez’s contract with Real Madrid runs until 2029. But, considering that a first-team spot might not be available next season, there could be a possibility that the club decide to sell him to Como, while retaining control over his future – like with Nico Paz and Jacobo Ramon.
