Since the Qatari ownership took charge of Paris Saint-Germain in 2011, the club has always sought to showcase a superstar player. While there’s a renewed focus on nurturing young talent, PSG may still be on the lookout for a standout individual to spearhead this new direction.

Journalist Jorge C. Picon reported that PSG could target Vinicius Junior if the right opportunity arises, potentially making a significant move to challenge Florentino Pérez and Real Madrid.

At this point, there hasn’t been any serious outreach, and contact has been limited. However, PSG is keeping a close eye on Vinicius’s situation. Reports from Spain also indicate that Manchester United and Chelsea are monitoring his status and could pounce if the opportunity presents itself.

According to MARCA, both Chelsea and PSG are interested in Vinicius, while Real Madrid officials are scheduled to meet with his representatives in the coming weeks to discuss his future.

Nonetheless, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is cooling off any potential idea that the Brazilian is on the way out. The insider notes that currently, linking Vinicius to Chelsea, PSG, or Manchester United isn’t realistic. While interest in the player is expected, there are no ongoing discussions.

Madrid are eager to extend Vinicius’ contract, which currently runs through 2027, to secure one of their top talents for the long term. There’s no potential asking price for the Brazilian, but Transfermarkt puts his value at €200 million.
