Brazil’s financial fair play watchdog ANRESF has again postponed the deadline for Série A and Série B clubs to submit financial information, now set for 11 May.

According to Globo.com, the original date was 31 March, then moved to 15 April before this latest change.

The agency acted after clubs reported difficulties compiling all requested data, which includes statements of debts and credits with other teams and records of payments to players and staff. At least nine clubs lodged a formal request, seeking an extension to 31 May, but the agency granted a shorter delay to 11 May.

ANRESF’s leadership does not view the flexibility as problematic, noting that, at this initial stage, clubs are gathering extensive historical information while adapting to the system.

The subsequent reporting deadlines, 31 July and 30 November, remain in place. Separately, the deadlines for two other obligations, annual financial statements and governance and transparency reports, have shifted from 15 May to 1 June.
