FC Porto continued preparations to host Alverca in the opening round of the 2026/27 I Liga, on a day marked by a tribute to Jorge Costa, who died a year ago. According to O Jogo, head coach Francesco Farioli included seven B-team players in training.

The call-ups were goalkeeper Gonçalo Ribeiro, defender Luís Gomes, midfielders Tiago Silva and Bernardo Lima, and forwards Duarte Cunha, Mateus Mide and Mame Niang.

Cláudio Ramos remains in treatment, while Alberto Costa is in conditioned training. Jan Bednarek continues with treatment and gym work.

Vasco Sousa, André Miranda and Samu are also in conditioned training, with all six still listed on the club's medical bulletin.

The match against Alverca is scheduled to kick off at 18h00 on Sunday.
